Assisted Living Fund

This fund provides for equipment or special programs for Assisted Living Seniors.

Benevolent Care Fund

This fund is designed to assist St. Leonard Assisted Care and Independent residents whose financial resources have been depleted. Since there are no federal or state funds to cover these costs, the Foundation makes up the difference for these residents with events targeted for Benevolent Care such as the Sports Auction, Legacy Golf Tournament, the on-going Bell Tower Paver project, and others.

Established in 1990, the Chapel Fund assists in the purchase of Chapel supplies, new songbooks, and other materials needed for Chapel operation at St. Leonard, including special project needs.

Dayaway Fund

This fund is designated specifically for the use of the Dayaway program participants and their specific needs. Dayaway is a full-service day program for seniors to enhance their social and cognitive abilities through mental and physical stimulation, maintaining their independence and dignity.

Employee Emergency Fund

Established in 2000, this fund assists eligible employees who experience an emergency resulting in financial stress from an uncontrollable catastrophic event. This event may include, but is not limited to: fire, natural disaster, incapacitating illness, sudden death of a family member, or any other uncontrollable event resulting in extraordinary financial stress. Another use of the fund is to provide gifts to employees and their dependents who may need emergency gift assistance at Christmas time.

Employee Christmas Fund

The Employee Christmas Fund is supported by residents, family members, and others who wish to thank employees for their assistance throughout the year. Funds are disbursed in December of each year to eligible St. Leonard employees.

Grounds Maintenance and Landscaping Fund

Herman's Fund

This particular fund helps residents (who may come upon an occasional financial emergency) to receive basic personal items or have the opportunity to participate in an outside resident group activity.
