On Saturday, July 7, 2007, 394 runners and walkers from ages, 5 to 88, joined together to compete in our popular annual St. Leonard 5K. This event is an opportunity for our residents to share the “In Spirit” of St. Leonard with family, friends and other race participants. Residents gather outside their decorated homes to cheer folks on as they race through the 3.1 mile course on our beautiful senior living campus. Many volunteers take part in this fun filled morning helping distribute t-shirts, cool wash rags and water to race participants.
Ninety-six awards were presented to the overall winners and to both male and female age group categories from ages 10 & under to 80 plus. Race results can be found on www.stleonard.net/foundation/5k
