Funds
1) Greatest Need Fund: Established as an unrestricted fund for the greatest current need to support St. Leonard’s mission as determined by the St. Leonard Foundation in conjunction with St. Leonard Management (support could include any of the following areas).
2) Benevolent Care Fund: Designated for St. Leonard assisted care and independent residents whose financial resources have been depleted, assuring no residents are asked to leave the St. Leonard Community due to having outlived their funds.
3) Employee Emergency Fund: Assists eligible employees who experience an emergency resulting in financial stress from uncontrollable catastrophic events.
4) Activities Fund: Provides for activities within the Activities Department such as Studio Art and Photo Club.
5) Alzheimer’s Fund: Provides for additional equipment, and/or special programs for all residents with Alzheimer’s in Assisted Care, the Health Care Center (HCC) and Day-away participants.
6) Assisted Care Fund: Provides additional equipment and/or special programs for Assisted Care residents.
7) Chapel Fund: Established in 1990, the Chapel Fund assists in the purchase of Chapel supplies, new songbooks, including special project needs.
8) Health Care Center Fund: Provides for additional equipment and/or special programs for residents of the Health Care Center.
9) Joseph Bernardin Residence Fund: Assists Joseph Bernardin residents who experience undue financial burden.
10) Herman’s Fund for resident emergencies: In honor of a special man whose kindness will never be forgotten, Herman's Fund helps residents who may come upon an occasional financial emergency to receive basic personal items or have the opportunity to participate in an outside resident group activity.
11) Franciscan Pilgrimage Fund: Assists with the cost of an annual pilgrimage trip for Board members or management staff.
12) St. Elizabeth’s Garden Fund: Helps with the maintenance and enhancement of the beautiful St. Elizabeth Garden, located on the St. Leonard campus near Pott Hall.
13) Veterans Fund: Funds raised by the St. Leonard Veterans Organization for their purposes.
