Assisted Living at St. Leonard
St. Leonard is dedicated to the service of
others and carries on this tradition by offering an assisted care
program tailored to meet the needs of the individual. Our specialized
programs provide help with daily activities while allowing residents
to remain independent as long as possible.
Assisted living services
include: twenty-four hour nursing care, personal care assistance,
three nutritious meals per day, medication assistance, housekeeping
services, nutrition counseling, therapy as needed and short term respite
care. Residents are assessed for the level of assistance/care they
need to ensure their comfort and independence. Lending a “helping
hand” while preserving the respect and dignity of our residents
is our goal.
Each
private room in the assisted care area provides residents with individually
controlled heating and air conditioning, walk-in showers, cable TV and conveniently
located call systems.
Residents in the Special Care Unit in Assisted
Care benefit from the additional attention they are given due to complications
associated with Alzheimer’s
or other cognitive disorders.
