St. Leonard provides two state-of-the-art residential facilities with specially trained professional staff to care for our residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Our Memory Support Unit was designed especially for Assisted Living residents experiencing early to mid-stage dementia and Alzheimer’s. The Health & Rehabilitation Center offers a secured unit providing skilled nursing care for residents with more advanced stages of Alzheimer’s and dementia. Admission and level of care determination is based upon individual assessments performed by St. Leonard nursing personnel.

Our Memory Services programming, under the direction of a certified dementia practitioner and activity consultant, offer activities such as music, art and pet therapy. Here the programming, staffing and overall care is based on the need of each resident’s particular cognitive disorder diagnosis.
